FAQ
A quotation includes the following points that we cannot complete without having the actual text:
- definition of the exact scope (the same applies for documents that the client sends in a non-editable format) and subsequent calculation of the price based on the number of characters;
- verification to determine if the number of characters does not include those that are not for translation (e.g. numbers, double spaces, tables, etc.);
- verification to ensure the number of characters includes all text for translation (text boxes and text in non-editable images);
- determination of the graphical processing the document needs;
- evaluation of the complexity of the text in terms of terminology;
- verification of the availability of the best possible translator for the specific text and the proposal of a subsequent completion date to the client;
- evaluation of repetitions in the text and the subsequent definition of a discount for these repetitions;
- determination of the need to translate numerical passages (in English, the decimal place is translated as a point and in German, this is not required, which may affect the length of time and difficulty in completing a translation in apparently similar languages);
- verification that the entire text is in the language reported by the client and that there are no other sections or parts in a foreign language;
- evaluation to determine if the text is sufficiently legible;
- and many other details that we have learned to pick up on over the years to ensure that clients do not experience any unpleasant surprises after ordering services from us.
The advantage of sending in a text for preview is that you are told of the exact final price and you have the freedom to make a transparent decision when ordering the translation.
Our calling card is hundreds of satisfied customers who are happy to come back and do business with us again.
We reward them with generous loyalty discounts.
