INTERPRETING SERVICES

Given the unique demands of simultaneous interpreting, the interpreters themselves must alternate at specific intervals (typically 15 to 20 minutes) in the interests of maintaining the quality of their work. Additionally, the interpreter that is not currently interpreting can help their colleague by identifying specific terminology in a glossary, writing down numbers, monetary amounts, names, etc. An interpreter may be able to handle the work on their own when the interpreting does not exceed a total of one hour and the topics is not overly specific.

While you may assume that a sworn interpreter is better given their experience and the difficult testing they have to complete, this is not always the case. There are standard interpreters who have the same level of experience and education. Sworn interpreting is primarily used for communication with state institutions.

In the case of large conferences, these meetings are useful for the client and the interpreter. It all depends on the circumstances, including the availability of the interpreter and the location of the event.

Please notify us if an event is cancelled as soon as possible. If the order has been confirmed, you’ll be responsible for paying the cancellation fee in an amount that depends on the type and scope of interpreting, and especially the amount of advance notice before the planned date of interpreting you can give when cancelling an order.

The price for interpreting services is based on the specific request and is only determined once we can ensure the availability of an interpreter for the specific assignment. To provide the interpreter with the details they need to perform their work, we need the client to provide information on the date, place and topic of interpreting, the length of the work, transport and meal options, etc. Only then can we specify a price. This is to your advantage since the price is fixed and final and the interpreter has already been temporarily reserved. All the interpreting details are provided in the left-hand column.
